IF ALL QMAXX PRODUCTS CLEAN, LUBRICATE, PROTECT AND PREVENT RUST AND CORROSION, WHY DO I NEED MORE THAN ONE?

The core technology in all QMaxx formulas is engineered to be an all-in-one solution. From the first application, QMaxx cleans, lubricates, protects metal AND prevents rust and corrosion. And the benefits only improve every time you use QMaxx.

However different environmental and work conditions demand unique requirements. And to meet these, we re-engineer our basic formula to be just aggressive enough to do the job (e.g., protect firearms, penetrate deep, adhere to fast-moving chain drives and mechanisms)—and no more

Then there are the extreme environmental conditions where QMaxx can be used. That’s why we offer QMaxx formulations for saltwater corrosion, freshwater lime deposits, snow, ice and extreme temperatures.

DOES THE QMAXX FORMULATION INCLUDE TEFLON OR SILICONE?

No, QMaxx products NEVER contain either Teflon or silicone. Both Teflon and silicone are poor friction modifiers for fast-moving or load-carrying parts. QMaxx solves the problem by creating a molecular bond with metal that inhibits rust and never picks up the dust, grit and sand that cause wear and tear. And for maximum friction-free applications, QMaxx uses its microscopic diamond (NanoMaxxTM) technology.

CAN I USE QMAXX WITHOUT A LACQUER BUILDUP OR SURFACES GETTING STICKY?

Absolutely. Because QMaxx works by bonding with metal atoms, it creates an invisible but durable barrier. In fact, rather than creating a sticky, waxy buildup, the more you use QMaxx the better the protection. The only visible evidence of QMaxx’s presence is the fact that it’s working.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BLU AND BLACK DIAMOND GUN CLEANING OILS?

BLU is the original QMaxx 4-in-1 gun cleaning oil to clean, lubricate and protect steel and blued-metal surfaces while it prevents rust and corrosion. Black Diamond meets the special needs of manganese phosphate coated gun surfaces. “Black” metal surfaces have numerous micro-pores that can leave actions rough and create places for carbon, grit and powder residue to collect. NanoMaxxTM technology fills these crevices with diamond particles that act like microscopic ball bearings. Both gun oils provide the same patented water-displacement properties.

Gunsmiths recommend BLU to replace the tiresome task of cleaning black powder firearms with boiling water. And if you have a gun that sees heavy use, you may want Black Diamond’s extra friction-fighting technology.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT QMAXX H20 CHAIN LUBRICATION?

First, use QMaxx H2O to clean rusty chains and parts. H2O helps recondition metal for smooth, friction-free operation. H2O works quickly, and even while it’s cleaning it is creating a dry-to-touch, fling-free barrier that stays on at high speeds. QMaxx creates a thin monolayer barrier that prevents rust and corrosion WITHOUT sticky buildup that can impede operation. Motorcycle and bicycle chains won’t pick up road dirt or sand. Chainsaw chains won’t collect grit or wood chips.

DOES QMAXX PASS ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS?

Yes. Each QMaxx product is carefully formulated and balanced to be aggressive enough to clean and stop rust without damaging delicate parts or the environment. To meet California’s special environmental requirements, QMaxx reformulates its Industrial Strength into a California-Compliant Industrial Strength product.

WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND QMAXX PRODUCTS LOCALLY?

By all means, let us know. Or encourage your local retailer to contact QMaxx at 888-389-9455. We’ll be happy to discuss a QMaxx retailer relationship. You can also order directly from us through our online store.

Understanding QMaxx Patented Technology

WHAT DOES PATENTED TECHNOLOGY MEAN?

QMaxx is not just another oil. It is 21st-century technology to engineer a specific gravity heavier than water. Our true water-displacement technology is patented in the United States, Canada and Mexico. We have additional patents in process and pending for our unique formulations. And we continue to apply for new patents.

WHAT’S THE SIGNIFICANCE OF WATER DISPLACEMENT?

Just because oil and water don’t mix is no assurance that every oil will protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion. With traditional oily rust fighters, water tends to bead off treated surfaces. But because oil floats on top of water, it can actually trap moisture in metals nooks, crannies and micro-pores. QMaxx has a specific gravity heavier than water to literally push all moisture up and away from surfaces…leaving QMaxx in a position to bond molecularly with metal atoms. QMaxx creates an invisible barrier that prevents the rust and corrosion process.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT THAT QMAXX IS HEAVIER THAN WATER?

Because traditional oils are lighter than water, they sit on top of water. QMaxx, however, has a specific gravity that is heavier than water. The moisture sits on top of QMaxx where it cannot come into contact with metal surfaces. And because QMaxx is heavier than water, it can get under moisture (even standing water) and literally push it away from surfaces.

WHY IS QMAXX SUCH A THIN FORMULA?

On its face, thin may not seem up to the task of effectively protecting metal from rust and corrosion. However, the fact that QMaxx is thin by design is precisely why it works so well. QMaxx doesn’t create a thick, oily that can trap water against metal. Instead, it is thin enough to penetrate deep into every pit, pore and crevice and facilitate molecular bonding.
